Storing biogas

no problem for us!

In conventional biogas plants, the gas generated during anaerobic fermentation is stored in variable-volume membranes in order to stabilize its flow to the cogenerator in case of production variations.

Biogas Engineering has developed an innovative solution for storing gas, we install low pressure-switch cylindrical storage tanks (gasometers).

These can be installed on top of the digester or on the ground, depending on the needs of the customer.

Gasometer installed on the ground -

ADVANTAGES, WHY INSTALL IT:

  • Operating pressure of 35 mbar which contains storage volumes;
  • Non-stop production and a guarantee of 50% of the rated egine powe in the event of failure of the blowe;
  • Replacement of the gasometer without plant downtime;
  • Greater security - the torch is powered directly by the gasometer;
  • No need for a fire department exemption

Our team is ready to adapt to our customers every requirement.

Here we have an example of integration with the installation of the conventional gasometric dome.

In our GreenHeart plants we use conventional gasometric domes,

as shown in the picture on the right.
