style=\"text-align: justify;\">Plants for the production of biomethane within livestock farms are now a consolidated reality for the agricultural sector.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By-products and waste from agriculture are <strong>the main raw material<\/strong> for the production of biomethane, the most sustainable biofuel for automotive.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The regulatory framework favors the construction of plants also on a <strong>consortium scale in vast areas<\/strong>, which receive materials of different nature and transform them into biogas through an anaerobic process and subsequently into biomethane with an upgrading system.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The initiative is favorable not only in <strong>economic terms<\/strong> (sale of biomethane, compressed or liquefied, introduction into the gas network, with recognition of incentives), but also in <strong>environmental terms<\/strong> (production of quality fertilizers and the possibility of reducing the nitrogen load through appropriate post &#8211; style=\"text-align: justify;\">Furthermore, it will have to reduce the environmental impact on the territory by reducing, where necessary, the excess of nitrogenous compounds, as well as the diffusion of odors during spreading.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The construction of a biomethane plant provides an environmentally compatible solution for this purpose, involving various operators in the agricultural and agro-industrial sector over a large area, also in the form of a consortium.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The plant generates biomethane, which can also be sold in liquefied form if the site is not close to gas networks, and a digestate which can be treated with innovative processes that favor its environmentally sustainable
